Moldova’s anticorruption agency has uncovered a massive cryptocurrency-based scheme worth $107 million designed to manipulate upcoming elections. Blockchain analytics company TRM Labs traced the digital payments to Russian-backed operatives compensating local agitators through various cryptocurrencies.
